The "The Shot Concept"

After operating a coffee roasting company and an espresso bar in Dunedin, the founder shifted to Austria for 2 years. Upon the discovery of a 1950 Wega espresso machine he started selling coffee at stock auctions.

The opportunity arose to set up a mobile trading business and as demand grew in the local district the first mobile espresso was born.

From mid December 2003 to April 2004 the mobile espresso unit was located at a major ski resort in Salzburg Land Leogang.

The business grew to be extremely successful as the novelty of the service attracted a large clientele.

Upon returning to Dunedin in 2004 it was decided to introduce to the local market, a gas powered brand new La Pavoni four group espresso machine at the back of an attractive Nissan S Cargo.

The potential to bring espresso anywhere and everywhere became obvious.

The decision to deliver espresso coffee to office's and commercial and industrial areas was quickly established and a route became organized very quickly.
